Description
Five years of The Linscott Herald here in one book. The Linscott Herald was started in 1993 as a way of providing Linscott-related news and historical information to Linscott descendants and researchers. This family newsletter was started by Don Kontner, a resident of Ohio at the time, and in 1995 the publishing was picked up by Jeffrey A. Linscott, at that time a recent retiree of the U.S. Air Force. The Linscott Herald has gone through several formatting changes throughout its years in print and has settled on a format that is pleasing to the eye and very easy to read. Making its way through 23 years in print, this family newsletter is loaded with historical information of interest to all. This book (volume) of The Linscott Herald covers the first five years of this publication, covering 1993 through 1998. When indexing is completed, Book 2 will cover 1999 through 2003; Book 3, etc.; Book 4, etc. That will be twenty years! We’ll see how it goes for the last 2 or 3 years. The Linscott Herald (finalized at 23 years in print), and its sister publication, The Whitcomb Wheel (finalized in 16 years in print), are both 20-page, full-sized (8.5 x 11 in.) newsletters, with a modest subscription pricing. This book places in one location five-year increments of the newsletter and will look nice on any researcher’s bookshelf. 8.5×11″, 400 total pages, perfect bound binding, indexed, ISBN: 9781935573364
