Written in the days before today’s modern sailing vessels, these stories bring out the romantic in all of us, as well as the adventurer. A few of the authors’ have very recognizable names: Ben Ames Williams, Jack London, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Morgan Robertson; and a few are less known but famous in their own right: Philip Ashton, James Oliver Curwood, Louis Becke, and Everett L.
